This book for me was a refresher because Yrene already explained the story of the woman who changed her life. (Since I read these out of order!) But I loved seeing Yrene fight for herself, because she was a woman who was on the verge of giving up. Even though Celaena is an assassin, she helps so many people in her life. She reminded Yrene why she traveled so far from home. And she gave her so many gifts in the 1-2 days that they interacted. This just shows why I love Celaena so much!
