I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.
I just...I can't. This book has no backstory of who these characters are. It doesn't follow along with book #1, which is confusing.
These characters are something else too. Helen sees a man on a bike and NEEDS to know who he is. She then magically goes to the same location he lives randomly and she gets on the back of his bike trusting a stranger. Then, without knowing anything about him, has sex with him, then gets mad when he takes her home instead of talk to her. It's called hooking up, a one night stand...
And the story is so boring. Nothing is happening and Helen is just getting upset with Marcus.
... this book just isn't for me sadly. But I see many readers have loved it so hopefully I'll stay in the minority of my feelings. I'm glad I got a chance to read this novel.
