This is my second book from Carly Phillips and the first one in this series I've read, and I loved it! Macy and Jaxon hit it off right at the beginning, so this plan of convenience was only natural. 

Hannah really drove me insane. I get that she's a moody 15 year old girl but Macy has done EVERYTHING for her and she's being a complete brat. Even before Lilah came into the picture, she was rude to Macy. Considering that if Macy hadn't taken custody of her, Hannah would have went into the system! I just think a little love and appreciation isn't much to ask for. 

I love Jaxon and his broodiness. He connected so well with Macy, and I'm so glad Macy is upfront about her thoughts and feelings in important matters. 

I'm really really glad I got a chance to read this book and I'm keeping my eye out for more by this author!
