I received this free eARC novel from the author and Edelweiss. This is my honest review.
I've had this book for a long time and finally got around to reading it. It was a hard book for me to get into, though. I'm not sure why, but I want able to connect with Nikki nor the storyline. Then her and Dru, who know nothing about each other, hook up and then have this weird moment with each other and it was all a lot to take in, without having the emotional connection I needed to be invested in this story.
I am curious about Nikki's gift and how that even happens. I've never heard about this before, so that was somewhat interesting.
