I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.
Jade and Memphis's story was great! I loved that we got both characters point of view and could see how much they loved each other, even though their thoughts were going back and forth.
I feel like Memphis went from "I-need-to-let-Jade-live-her-life" to "I'm-going-to-win-her-back" out of nowhere, but I'm a sucker for men going after the woman they love, so I was okay with that abrupt change.
And the love triangle angle? I'm not a fan of love triangles, but I feel like this was a very mature, honest, and decent way of handling a sticky situation. So I was pleasantly surprised by that!
I'm really loving this series and look forward to many more future books by Alexis Winter!
