I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.
With this book being a fantasy and having different vocabulary and style of life, I was concerned it works take awhile to get into the flow of the story. HOWEVER, that was so not the case! I was sucked into this novel right away and went on a crazy adventure with Rogan and Wolfe.
I loved this world full of people with powers and abilities. And I love that it isn't a perfect world; there are a lot of things to fix to make it better.
Haylyn is a different character and I'm not sure how I feel about her. She's very naive and misinformed, so hopefully she will be more involved now that the issues have been presented.
Rogan is very loyal, which is a great characteristic, but I don't think she needs to plan her future around this quality. In fact, if Haylyn won't take her opinion, why bother trying...? Rogan is also very stubborn and takes forever to admit it if she's wrong, so poor Wolfe. Wolfe, though is amazing and he's SSOOOO patient! I'm sure most guys would have given up years ago.
I'm so glad I got to read this incredible book and I'm curious if there will be more to follow in this world. If so, I'll be first in line to read the next one! If not I'm still happy I got to explore this story!
