The Scotch King by Penelope Sky
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I got the boxset of this series on Amazon for free, and was very intrigued by the synopsis. I actually really enjoyed the book as a whole. Crewe thinks he's a terrible person, but he's really not, and London can tell that about him, apparently. I don't think I would have taken as many chances at things that London did with Crewe, but she seems to be a bit fearless for the most part. There are parts that contradict previous actions or statements, and that annoyed me a bit, but overall I think this was a good book. I'm curious to see what else happens between these two characters.
