Lennon and Cade met during an odd time and boy did they not hit it off very well. When they find out their parents are dating, it just went downhill from there.

Cade is a very angry guy, who is mad at the world. Everything is falling apart around him and he wants revenge against Lennon's dad.

And Lennon is a bit naive, to be honest. But that's okay, she had her future planned out and isn't going to let anything distract her... until Cade came into the picture.

Honestly, this book is an emotional disaster. These two characters can't make up their minds on how they feel and they are all over the place so the time. It's very hard to not get whiplash. And Lennon drive me crazy at the beginning, basically toggling 3 guys around. I was honestly rooting for Colby because I think he would have settled down for Lennon.

Overall I enjoyed this novel and I'm glad I got a chance to read this book!

Alex and Emilia were on fire the first moment they met and it only got hotter throughout the book! I was hooked from the first chapter and didn't put this book down until, sadly, it was over. 

I love that Emilia decided once and for all she was finally done with her distant ex-boyfriend. And that she went to LA to teach like she always wanted to, but was always turned down by her ex. Good for her for finally going after her dreams and she found so much more than she was expecting. 

And Alex is amazing. He's an amazing father, and I love that he is mature and not into partying or getting with any female who smiles at him. He has lived through that faze and now he knows what he wants and he goes after what he wants. 

Ryder is hilarious. He is a little stinker who is waaay too smart for his age. I love how much he adores both his mom and dad, even though they are divorced. He wants everyone to be happy, and by golly he knows how to make that happen! 

Also, this book made me crack up SO MANY TIMES!!! I seriously had to put the book down for a moment because I was laughing so hard. I loved every word, every minute of reading this book and I'm so glad I have been introduced to this author, who may now by a new favorite of mine! I am definitely going to be reading more books by Kayley Loring! I definitely recommend this novel!

Mikal and Remy are complete opposites from the beginning to the end of this novel, which of course means they are perfect for each other. 

I really feel for Mikal. He had a crappy childhood which had made him suffer for the rest of his life. He made bad decisions that had lasting effects and he really had PTSD as a result. Remy was a temporary cure and made him forget for a moment his dark part, but not even her love and her pureness was able to heal him completely. 

Remy was so naive at the beginning of this book, but by the end she had been through her share of pain and growing up. 

I really enjoyed this novel and this was my first book by this author. I'm very invested in this series and the other characters I'm hoping will have their own story, so I will definitely be in the look out for the next book in this series!

This series is packed with drama and lies! I'm very intrigued on how things will wrap up for Ivy in book 3, since book 4 and 5 are side character spin off books.

Ivy is going through a lot of crappy things right now. I really wished she would have just stayed away from King Academy - her life would be much more simple right now. Also, I'm so tired of everyone jerking Ivy around. This is like the 17th century where arranged marriages happen in the norm. STOP TRYING TO MARRY IVY OFF TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!!!! Or the man who can be puppeted around the most. 

And Ivy.... she kinda got on my nerves this book because she just can't make up her mind about which guy she likes, and she's not telling any of them that she likes all 3. She's not REALLY cheating because she doesn't want to be engaged, but honesty is always the best policy. Except she lives in a world where secrets are power so no one is being honest about anything.....

I enjoyed this novel but I definitely liked book 1 better. I'm hoping Ivy figured even out soon and stops letting the men in her life pull her around so much. I like females who are independent and strong and Ivy felt a bit weak in this book. 

I'm glad I got a chance to read this and I'm looking forward to the next book!

I received this free eARC novel from Booksirens and the author. This is my honest review. 

The synopsis instantly grabbed my attention for this book and I'm really glad I took a chance and read this eARC. 

I love how Faye goes after what she wants. She's been going through a lot of crappy things lately, but she is always proving that she is worth the best results. And I seriously loved her cover letter to Henry's company. It's what everyone wants to write but never will if they to get a serious job. 

The competition between Henry and Faye was more dominate, I felt, than the attraction. They were always trying to beat the other one. I felt this was a slow burning romance between the two, which I was happy with because I loved how it focused on their career and their passion for their job. 

This was my first novel by this author and I might see if I can grab more books in this series! Glad I got a chance to read this!

I have recently discovered that I really enjoy bully romances,  enemies-to-lovers novels, but I'm discovering that they are all unique in their own way. And J.A. Huss really created a fantastic story with so many twists and turns. 

Bully King is so much more than a group of guys bullying a girl. It's about a forced lifestyle. About acting, taking the bad with the worse. Sure the kids are terrible snots who act entitled, but there is a reason for that. Such a sad reason. 

I'm so very confused on why Cadee stayed in this place. I don't even care that she said it's because she won't let them win. She, out of everyone there, has a legit reason to leave and she...stays... Why?! I think she's more messed up than most of the other kids there, to be honest. 

Cooper is very naive. I think he's checked out of this life and was never really made to be a part of this lifestyle, which is great. But if you're going to be "King", you better step up your game instead of ignore everything...

I'm not surprised by the ending. I knew something didn't add up, so I'm glad some things were brought to light. I do know this is a duet so I'm intrigued on what book 2 will bring. 

I'm very glad I got a chance to read this book and get an introduction to this authors work. J.A. Huss is an author I'll be on the lookout for sure in the future!

This is a great novel! Definitely Beast from Beauty and the Beast vibes when it comes to Hunter and how crazy he is toward Mia. I love how he risked everything for her - twice!  - to protect her. Mia may be naive, but she's definitely not dumb and she knows that there is a connection between the two of them. 

Some people might think Hunter is too much, but I loved how protective, possessive, and dominating he was toward Mia. 

This was a great, quick read and I'm looking forward to more by Jagger Cole!
