Review: Always You by Samantha Young

Always You Always You by Samantha Young
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

Samantha Young is one of my auto buy authors, and I am so excited this book is finally out! We've seen Arro and Mac interact throughout the first two books, so to finally see them get past all of the issues that were stopping them was so satisfying!

This is actually a slow burn, which at first I was put off by, but I'm actually really glad that the author wrote it this way.  We really get to see how Arro and Mac are working through their personal issues in order to really live their futures how they want it. And we get a lot more info on both of their personal pasts too.

I also really enjoyed seeing Arran, one of the elusive brothers, around and I have a feeling if he gets his own book, there is going to be a lot to unpack in his story!

I'm so glad I got the chance to read this novel and I cannot wait for more by this fantastic author!

Review: Forestfall by Lyndall Clipstone

Forestfall Forestfall by Lyndall Clipstone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from Edelweiss. This is my honest review.

I'm so glad I was able to dive right into this book after reading book 1. Let is such a string character, always thinking of a better solution when presented with a problem.

Rowan in this book showed how determined he can get. I guess he showed that in book 1, but it was amplified now in this novel.

I didn't really connect as well with this book because Leta and Rowan weren't together for a lot of it. And I wasn't really able to picture the setting where Leta was as well as Rowans mansion, so that added to the disconnect I think.

I really enjoyed this storyline and I'm glad I got the chance to read this story!

Review: Lakesedge by Lyndall Clipstone

Lakesedge Lakesedge by Lyndall Clipstone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from Edelweiss. This is my honest review.

This story is so unique - it was refreshing to get a strong storyline that isn't a repetition of other things I've read. And mind you, this is unique to me - others may have read similar. But I enjoyed this story! I instantly got sucked into this book from page one and devoured it, wanting to know what else happened next.

Leta is such a strong female character. She is devouted to her family and she will do anything to protect them. She risks herself over and over again, and I adore her so much. She is also learning more and more about herself too.

I love Rowan. He is 100% a tortured soul and really does not know how to deal with Leta's take charge attitude. He is also a very strong person who is just trying to live one day at a time. All of these characters are survivors!

I'm very glad I waited to read this book until I have the sequel in my hands, because I am now diving into it to see what happens next! I'm really glad I decided to try this book as I am really liking everything about it :)

Review: Nox Wolf by G. Bailey

Nox Wolf Nox Wolf by G. Bailey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author.  This is my honest review.

I absolutely love this series!!  I adore everything I've read by G. Bailey, but this series knocks it out of the park for me!  Nyx is so strong, and she is trying so hard to learn this new world and be able to use her unusual magic.  She has a great group of friends, and her and Atlas are off the charts!  She has to watch her back at all times the more she learns about herself and she is a true fighter.

I seriously love Atlas.  I know he did wrong in the first book, but he certainly made up for his mistakes in this novel.

I am dying for the 3rd book to be here already after that cliffhanger we were given.  I know it will be fantastic, so I will patiently wait until May, but I can't get enough of this storyline and these characters!  So glad I got the chance to read this and looking forward to more!!

Review: The Law of Stars and Sultans by S. Young (Samantha Young)

The Law of Stars and Sultans The Law of Stars and Sultans by Samantha Young
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author.  This is my honest review.

I adored this series!!  I love Ari and Jai so much and they grew so much from book 1  until the end.  Ari became so confident in herself and she really stepped up to her lineage.  Seeing her take charge and come up with plans was fantastic.  Seeing her sacrifice herself was heartbreaking.  This book was definitely a roller coaster of emotions for me and just when I thought things would get "normal", another twist came rolling through!

I loved how everything turned out in the end, even if it was a bit turmoil.  I love all of the side characters, and how they had important roles in this storyline.

My second favorite thing (besides the actual story and characters) was the sneak peak with Fallon and her forever love interest!  I would seriously love to see just 1 book of when they met and how they ended up together, but knowing Fallon, she made it a challenge for him to get to their happily ever after!  But the sneak peak, extra scene was phenomenal and left me wanting more.

I am so glad I got the chance to read this series and I know I'll be rereading this, but being able to binge through all 4 will be amazing.  I can't wait for the next great masterpiece by this author!!

Review: Second True Love by Vikki Jay

Second True Love Second True Love by Vikki Jay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Grey's Promotions. This is my honest review.

I was very intrigued with Clementine's story when we met her as Rose's roommate, so I was very excited her story was next! I love her drive, her passion to live her life. Even though she was not quite ready to be out on her own, that did not stop her from diving head first into her new adventure and determined to succeed at her dreams.

I'm so glad she had Merida and Keith to help her along the way. And Clem helped the both of them to work the struggles they were going through. It was honestly meant to be, especially with that jaw dropping revelation at the end!

While Rose will always have a special place in my heart and probably always be my favorite, I definitely have a lot of room for all of Vikki Jay's wonderful characters! I am so glad I discovered this awesome author from the beginning and I cannot wait for the next storyline!

Review: Reforming the Playboy by Inara Scott

Reforming the Playboy Reforming the Playboy by Inara Scott
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

It only took me 8 years to read this.... eek. But I finally got to it and I liked this story. Max and Kira do not know how to communicate their real, true feelings and thoughts, which made for a long 5 years apart. They also had pretty rough childhoods, which didn't help their trust levels when they grew up.

I really love Kira's little Colorado Town. Reminds me a bit of my small town.

I really enjoyed this novel and I'm glad I finally got around to reading it!

Review: The War of Two Queens by Jennifer L. Armentrout

The War of Two Queens The War of Two Queens by Jennifer L. Armentrout
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

This is a very highly anticipated book, and I can 100% say, it does not disappoint at all! I am always amazed by how talented Armentrout is and how she can create such fantastic worlds and characters for me to fall in love with.

Poppy is just amazing. The amount she has grown throughout this series is fantastic and she has really learned a lot about herself and her role. To see her so determined and confident is out of this world.

Being able to get Cas's viewpoint is the best thing ever. I love getting his thoughts and emotions. It honestly makes me wish we had more of those moments, but I'll try not to get greedy!

These characters go through a lot of emotion in this book, and I was along for the roller coaster of a ride! I got goosebumps, so many times when something was revealed and it clicked into my head. I laughed, I cried, I squealed with joy, my jaw dropped in shock. You will feel everything throughout this journey, I promise.

And there is a lot of information we get in this book. I feel the need to reread already because I just know there are things I missed because I was speeding through everything, trying to absorb as much as I could as quickly as I could. This book will answer a lot of questions, but also leave you with new questions for the future books.

I'm so happy I got the chance to read this story! JLA has been my auto buy, favorite author for 10 years and I have multiple formats of all of her books, so to be able to add this book to my collection makes me all warm inside. Enjoy the ride!

Review: Twisted Games by Elena Lawson

Twisted Games Twisted Games by Elena Lawson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

This book... this book has so much that happens, I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything! Ava Jade is amazing. She takes no prisoners and doesn't apologize for her actions. She is looking out for herself and is a survivor.

But now she's getting close to people around her and looking out for just herself isn't necessarily her #1 priority. Getting closer to people is a weakness though, means she can get hurt easier.

Corpus, Rook and Grey are fantastic. Rook and Corvus are still my favorite, but all 3 of them are so crazy protective of the things and people they care for.

I totally figured out the a stalker beforehand and I'm very interested to figure out what is going to happen next.  I'm not sure when the 4th and final book is coming next, but you can guarantee I'm going to devour that book when I get my hands on it.

This series is very dark, very taboo, but I'm looking every minute of it so far, even though it questions my tastes lol. I'm so glad I got the chance to read this book!

Review: Restless Night by Persephone Autumn

Restless Night Restless Night by Persephone Autumn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This is my first Persephone Autumn novel and I'm already hooked! I loved the enemies/ hatred part of this story, along with Micah's complete confusion. I also liked how Micah genuinely felt about his past actions.

This is a slow burn. Slloooowwww burn. But seeing these two go slow like high school slow is kinda adorable.

Both Peyton and Micah are great characters and I loved getting to know them. I'm very intrigued to see how things go after that ending.

I'm very glad I decided to read this novel and I may have to read a few more by this author!

Review: Those Three Words by Alexis Winter

Those Three Words Those Three Words by Alexis Winter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

This is my favorite novel by Alexis Winter. I devoured it and really clicked with the characters. The tension between them was insane and there were so many spicy moments! I loved how much Margot connected with Eleanor and how she was so drawn to Graham.

I was also surprised at what the "those the words" really were, because it was definitely not what I was expecting! Not that I'm complaining, I was quite happy being surprised.

I really enjoyed this novel and can't wait to see what else is in store by this author!

Review: Defiant Queen by Jagger Cole

Defiant Queen Defiant Queen by Jagger Cole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I literally don't have words right now after finishing this amazing duet! Jagger Cole is a fantastic author who I've devoured all of his novels and wait with impatience for the next one.

I am so glad we only had to wait 2 weeks between book 1 and 2. Konstantin and Mara are dynamite together. I couldn't get enough of them and every interaction had me holding my breath, had my heart beat racing. I don't know the last time I was this invested in a storyline. I'm already ready to dive back into book 1 and experience everything so over again.

So many things happen in this book. So many secrets get revealed, so many questions get answered. There is a lot of betrayal, a lot of relationships cemented.

I need more people to discover Jagger Cole and his amazing novels because I know everyone who enjoys Dark romance, Mafia romance will instantly love this series! All I know is I'm 100% an auto buy fan of his and I will be here for every book Cole publishes! Seriously, read this series!

Review: Sneaking Around With #34 by Piper Rayne

Sneaking Around With #34 Sneaking Around With #34 by Piper Rayne
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Valentine PR. This is my honest review.

I always love coming back to these characters and this world. It's so easy to connect with everything and just get immersed into the stories.

Imogen and Warner's story is wonderful. There is tension and anger but you can tell they still have feelings for each other. I'm glad to finally know what the animosity is between Ford and Warner.

I love seeing all of the players come together and seeing past main characters in the background.

I'm glad I got the chance to read this novel and I'm very excited for the next installment!

Review: Fall of Embers by G. Bailey

Fall of Embers: A Rejected Mates Romance Fall of Embers: A Rejected Mates Romance by G. Bailey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I love a good dragon romance and this story is really leading up to a great storyline. I love grown up Serendipity and I love that she has a backbone like her mom. I wish everyone would have treated her like an adult, though. If she can know about her fated mating with Dray, she should know everything. She shouldn't be left in the dark, coming up with her own conclusions, the wrong conclusions.

I'm actually really on board with her and Dray. The other potential romance stories are okay, but I always have a Team, and I'm picking the dragon king 100%.

I'm very excited for Serendipity's story to continue and see how everything gets resolved!

Review: The Accidental Countess by Emma Hart

The Accidental Countess The Accidental Countess by Emma Hart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

This series has been wonderful. I've loved all of the characters and their stories to find their happily ever afters. I was really intrigued by Eva and Matt's storyline because it was so unique compared to other stories I've read.

Eva is such an amazing person. I don't know why I like her personality so much, but she's no nonsense, blunt, and speaks her mind. You never have to guess with her, she will tell you what's what.

And Matt is so sweet. I just love how his mind works and I love that he would do anything for Eva. He's so thoughtful and I know a lot of that has to do with his dad. You could just feel the love he had for his father when he talked about him.

I also love how much dog love there is in this book. All the puppies!

I'm so glad I got the chance to read this story and I can't wait for the next great book by Emma Hart!
