Review: The Last Boy and Girl in the World by Siobhan Vivian

The Last Boy and Girl in the World The Last Boy and Girl in the World by Siobhan Vivian
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I have to admit, if it wasn't for my book club i probably wouldn't have picked this up to read. Sure the synopsis sounds amazing but other than that i would have debated and decided not to read it.

Keeley is a typical teenae girl in a crisis that is definitely not typical. A lot of reviewers on Goodreads say that she is annoying and bratty, but one has to remember that she is a junior in high school and literally everything around her is falling apart. Her home is becoming a lake, her dad is fighting the town, she finally gets a semi chance wuth the boy shes always crushed on, and her friendships are crumbling every day. So yeah she's going to act like a brat.

I seriously wouldn't know how to feel if this happened to my town. This is just crazy and wild and unimaginable to me. Plus I'd be terrified cause i can't swim so i would have been the first one out.

This was a very intriguing and engaging story to read and definitely had me thinking a lot of "what if"s through out the book!

Review: The Gargoyle Chronicles: A Riga Hayworth Mystery by Kirsten Weiss

The Gargoyle Chronicles: A Riga Hayworth Mystery The Gargoyle Chronicles: A Riga Hayworth Mystery by Kirsten Weiss
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this eARC novel from Red Coat Publishing. This is my honest review.

This novel was okay. I think i made the mistake in starting this series with this book full of short stories instead of reading it in the right order because i was so lost and confused during all of it. I bet readers who have read everything will really enjoy this book, though! I'm glad i got a chance to read it and i may decide to read the series at a later date.

Review: Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han

Always and Forever, Lara Jean Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A great ending to the series! It's a bit lose ended and has a lot that is unknown but that gives the reader a chance to imagine what happens on their own.

I will say that Lara Jean did annoy me a little more than she should have with all of her indecisions and going back and fourth on hige decisions but i had to remind myself that she is a teenager. That is literally the definition of a teenage girl!

Glad i got a chance to read the series but i am definitely going to be rewatching the Netflix show more times than i will reread this book series :)
