Review: Dark Angel Academy by G. Bailey

Dark Angel Academy Dark Angel Academy by G. Bailey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author.  This is my honest review.

This series is by far one of my favorites from this author, and I am so glad that it is available in a box set!  Now when I re-read them again, I can just binge all three novels without having to stop!

I love the characters, I love the setting, I love the storyline, and I love how it shows that good and evil aren't always easy to differentiate between.

Kaitlyn is an amazing character who is strong and is always fighting to do the right thing.  She is thrust into many crazy events that she has to figure out how to get out of, but she has her guys right by her side.

I know that this is one I'll be re-reading again and again, and I am definitely going to recommend this series and box set to everyone I know!

Review: This is Beautiful by Kennedy Fox

Checkmate: This is Beautiful Checkmate: This is Beautiful by Kennedy Fox
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kayla and Logan's sorry was by far my favorite in this series and I'm so glad I stuck through them to get to these last two!

These two went through A LOT in this novel and I honestly couldn't imagine what they were feeling. I love that Kayla finally went after get dream and that she was still getting dogs into their forever home. And I love how these two love each other so much that nothing was going to get in their way.

I am so glad that I read this series and I'm ever so glad that I have the Bishop series ready to dive into. I've been antsy to see how those boys fall since Courtney's story.

Checkmate: This is Dangerous Checkmate: This is Dangerous by Kennedy Fox
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I knew that Logan and Kayla were going to be my favorite couple out of this group.

Kayla is my soul sister. Her love for dogs may be more intense than mine, but I love how she cares so much for everything. To commit that amount of time to help others is admirable and I just love her.

Logan is very somber and secretive, but when Kayla is around, his emotions run all over the place. And the way he is around Skylar? Just amazing.

These two are perfect for each other and I'm glad Logan got over his stubbornness before it was too late.

That ending was killer and I'm so glad I don't have to wait to see how things get fixed! I need answers asap!

Review: This is Effortless by Kennedy Fox

Checkmate: This is Effortless Checkmate: This is Effortless by Kennedy Fox
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I'm so glad that nothing terrible happened in this second book for Drew and Courtney!

I loved that Kayla is an animal pusher and got Drew and Courtney to adopt two dogs! Every moment they had with their pups is so so so true with dogs, and I laughed my ass off during those scenes.

Mia is psychotic and creepy as hell.... I would have been terrified if I was Courtney to be honest. You never know what crazy people will do when they are desperate.

I love seeing Travis and Viola and their family still!

I think this might have been my favorite novel of the series so far but I think Kayla and Logans story might top it... just a feeling I'm getting for some reason!

Checkmate: This is Reckless Checkmate: This is Reckless by Kennedy Fox
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

As I predicted, I have conflicting thoughts about Drew and Courtney. I feel for Courtney because she's been in love with Drew for forever, and he's friend zoned her for years. And Drew needs to drop the bad habit named Mia. She's a nasty woman who thrive on chaos and pain.

I loved seeing Courtney with her family and I'm excited that her brothers have their own series that I will read soon!

And I want Mia to suffer by the end of the next book, because I cannot stand that woman...

This was a good conclusion for Travis and Viola. I think Viola should have talked to Travis and I think Travis could have chased after Viola because obviously these two needed to have a real conversation about everything,  but everything ended up okay in the end.

I'm a bit skeptical if I'm going to enjoy Drew and Courtney's story, but I'm going to give it a try and see what happens.

Review: This is War by Kennedy Fox

This is War This is War by Kennedy Fox
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I love a enemies-to-lovers story so I was extremely excited to see that this book was labeled as one. But sadly it wasn't for me, I have to say. Though don't get me wrong, I'm going to read the next book to see what happens.

Viola and Travis. Boy, they both have feelings for each other, whether it be hate or love or something in between. I felt that Viola was a bit  childish in her hatred toward Travis. She was ALWAYS telling him she hated him... over and over and over again. Obviously if she really hated him, she would be able to ignore him and be indifferent to him.

And Travis... a manwhore. I don't really have an issue with that necessarily. What I do have an issue with is that he was hooking up with a strange and seriously minutes after was then with Viola. THEN he went to another chick after messing around after being with Viola!! That's just wrong...

So I had some issues with this book, but I'm going to read the next one and hope that these two get their act together quickly.

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

This new novel by Jagger Cole gets right into the story and the reader flies through the short novel. The connection between Max and Tessa is strong and untraditional, but very intense.

I'm glad I got a chance to read this book and, as always, looking forward to the next one by this author!

Review: Looking To Score by Alley Ciz

Looking To Score Looking To Score by Alley Ciz
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This was a good story that was a fast read and kept me entertained throughout the whole novel. Mason and Kayla both have their secrets and tough pasts, but the second Mason sees Kayla, he had to get to know her. When she fights off his flirting and resists his charms, it's game on for Mason to find out more about this mystery girl.

Overall I really enjoyed this story! The beginning was a bit confusing because Kayla already had her group of friends, so it made it seem like this was a sequel in the series instead of the 1st book. And Kayla shortens EVERYONE'S name to an initial, so it was a bit confusing to keep them all together at first.

The other thing I questioned about this book was the ending... So Kayla has a lot of secrets, and Mason finds out about them. At the beginning, he was okay with the reveal of her secrets. But Mason is such a hypocrite. He has his own secrets that are closing his judgment. He hasn't told Kayla ANY of his secret, so when he jumps to the wrong conclusion, Kayla has no idea what started this. If they had BOTH been honest with each other and told each other about their pasts, they would both understand how the other one falls with bad situations.

But Mason never once thought about telling her his secret and that really bothers me now that he's judging her life choices before she met him...

Plus that cliff hanger ending...ugh, I need more now!

I'm hoping things get cleared up in the next book and everyone starts to be honest with each other. I'm glad I got a chance to read this novel and be introduced to this author! I'm definitely going to be getting the next book when it comes out!

Review: Revved To The Maxx by Melanie Moreland

Revved To The Maxx Revved To The Maxx by Melanie Moreland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author.  This is my honest review.

I am stunned at how much I LOVED this book!!  I really didn't think it was going to be one of my top books of 2020, but now it's a very strong contender!

This is my first book by Melanie Moreland and I got a random opportunity to read it, and I'm so glad I did!  I loved the characters, Charly for sure, and Maxx is such a grump, but so emotional all at the same time.

Charly is a fighter, and she doesn't give up easily.  She is taking chances and risks to make sure she is safe and making every minute count, and I couldn't get enough of her.  She also cracks me up so much.  She is always wanting to get a reaction out of Maxx, and sometimes it's extreme circumstances that make him lose it.

The attraction between these two sparks the instant they meet each other, and it just simmers and builds the whole time they are around each other.  They both have such a tragic past too, so I'm not surprised that they were able to connect to one another.

I also just love Charly.  She is my soul sister.  Crazy organized? Me. Crazy attentive to detail and maybe a bit OCD? Also me.  What is the big difference is that I do not cook, so she wins in that department.  But the way she shaped that garage into shape and did it knowing Maxx's wraith may come after her is amazing, and I want to be her friend for life.  She's also really good with people;  I'm a bit mediocre in that department.

Maxx is gruff, angry, distrustful, and just wants to keep to himself, but Charly is a whirlwind storm that just destroyed his "normal" and I think that is what is best for him.  Charly is what is best for him and seeing them get into each others business and upending their everyday structure is just amazing.

I can see myself re-reading this book many times, especially when I want a good laugh.  I am so glad I got a chance to read this novel and I see myself reading more books by this author in the future!

Review: Glass Secrets by A.M. Kusi

Glass Secrets Glass Secrets by A.M. Kusi
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

I was so excited to get book 2 in this series and see how Andre falls for a new woman in his life.

Mia is such a strong person. She has been through so much in her short life, and yet she is still fighting to get her happily ever after, no matter the costs.

And Andre has been burned one to many times, so trusting Mia was really hard for him. The open, loving guy from book one did not appear for awhile during this book. But if anyone was to snap him or if it it would have been Mia.

This series has been a great surprise to me and now I'm invested in these characters. I can't wait for book 3 and I really need Jasmine to have her own story, because her secrets intrigue me to no end.

So glad I got a chance to read this novel!

Review: Sparks by Wendy Higgins

Sparks Sparks by Wendy Higgins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I am so so so glad I got a chance to read this book early! Ever since it was first announced, I've been waiting very impatiently for its release, and let me tell you, it would have been worth the wait.

This is a very real, very powerful book. Harlow is like every normal woman in the world. She is trying to figure out her life; stuck in a time in her life when she is not sure of anything. She knows she wants the end goal of love, happiness, and contentment in her life choices. She's just not sure how to get there.

When her friends sign her up for Sparks, the dating app, she was completely against it, but then she thought, "what if...?" What if this might work? What if she finds the right person? What if she just has a bit of fun?

But the pressure of online dating is getting to be a bit stressful for Harlow. Plus add the fact that she's interested in many guys at once, men who have their own drama, and Harlow is wondering how much she can take before she breaks completely.

I feel that this book is going to relate to every woman out there, whether they've done online dating or not. I've never done it, but I was understanding every emotion she was going through 100%. And for me, I'm dating a pilot who was starting to get into the airlines before the coronavirus hit, so the life of aviation was very familiar to me throughout this novel.

I cannot express how amazing this novel is, but I feel that everyone should read it because they will love it! Wendy Higgins is an autobuy author for me and I'm so glad she wrote this amazing novel! It's real, powerful, hilarious and an inspiring novel that I know I will reread over and over again!

Review: Crescent Wolves by G. Bailey

Crescent Wolves Crescent Wolves by G. Bailey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

G. Bailey's new novel was riveting and full of mystery and magic! Millie is thrown into a new world very quickly and i feel like she adapted really an considering everything she was told was something she thought was only make believe.

I do think it's a bit odd that she only makes one friend and then the rest are guys where friendship is not the only thing on their minds. But then again, she's an anomaly, so many people are leery of her.

I'm a bit bummed she doesn't have a live interest with the 5th clan, the witches. Maybe she'll get another girl friend from that clan? It seems to be the one that isn't talked about as much of the 5.

I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to more books in this series to figure out the mystery of these characters!

Hendrix Hendrix by Kelsey Clayton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

One, I am so so so happy that Colby got his own story and two, I'm so so so glad I got a chance to read this as a gift from the author - an absolute surprise!

Colby was my pick for Lennon in her story, so I was a bit bummed about the outcome. For some reason, Colby just drew me in more and I absolutely wanted him to get his own happily ever after, so this book was a god send.

And honestly, Saige is a perfect match for him. I love how protective, but fierce she is.  Seeing her broken during this book, having self doubt and self blame really broke my heart and I'm so glad she had Colby and her friend Mads there to help let through that terrible situation.

This is a second chance romance, a slow burning romance, a sport romance... I mean it's for everything! Colby definitely deserved his own book and it was everything you can think to ask for!

I definitely recommend this book to everyone and I'm now adding another favorite author to my must have list!

Review: The WRONG Brother by Alexis Winter

The WRONG Brother: A Friends to Lovers Romance The WRONG Brother: A Friends to Lovers Romance by Alexis Winter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

Piper Preston Calvin

This was a good book! It starts with Piper crushing on Preston, her best friend since they were kids. She's been attracted to him for awhile and decides to take the plunge and tell him, but things don't go the way she thought they would.

In fact, she finds herself staring to think she was in love with the wrong brother, because Calvin is around more now, and she's getting tingles and is more alert when Calvin is around. She doesn't feel that way around Preston... Puppet doesn't know what is happening, but she has to decide if she's ready to shake up her whole world or not risk it...

This was a cute novel. I did get tired of the secrets and lies kept from close friends and families, but that is typically how best-friends-of-siblings stories go so I'm not surprised.

I'm glad I got a chance to read this eARC and I'm looking forward to more by this author!

Review: Stud in the Stacks by Pippa Grant

Stud in the Stacks Stud in the Stacks by Pippa Grant
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

This was a free monthly romance book that I got and I instantly had to read it. Since I'm a librarian I had to read this and I was quite surprised to see that KNOX is the librarian. You don't find many books, or real librarians, who are male and definitely not hot, sexy, single male librarians.

I adored Knox. I love his commitment to his job, I love that he loves romance novels and I love how he isn't ashamed that he loves romance. His knowledge of romance books is astounding and how he remembers them all! Doing reader's advisory can be somewhat challenging, but Knox made it look easy.

My all-time favorite part is when Knox recommended a book to Rhett, who "hates" romance and come to find out that Rhett wants more! Cracked me up so much.

I loved how protective Parker's younger brothers are for her and how they acted like her bodyguards at her high school reunion. I know she probably hates it, but it's amazing that they have her back like that.

I feel bad for Parker. Her self doubt is crazy high and it's all because she was bullied and treated badly by exes. She's an amazing woman who is ambitious and hard working, and I'm glad Know was there to set her straight once and for all.

I'm so glad I got a chance to read this book and I'll have to keep an eye out for more by this author!

This new world that Jagger Cole has created is great! I love how Viv is so fearless and is set out to get what she wants. She may be a bit intimidated by Alfie but that doesn't stop her from trying to win the war.

The attraction between Viv and Alfie is of the charts and I'm not surprised they couldn't keep their hands off each other. Even when bombs were exploding around them.

I've been waiting for this last book in the series and it did not disappoint! If course I knew the ending from the previous series ending, but it was great to see it through Izora's point of view and the things she had to conquer on her side of the story.

I loved how this book was really focused on family and the connection only sisters can have, between Willow and Corvina.

Review: Ruthless Empire by Rina Kent

Ruthless Empire Ruthless Empire by Rina Kent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This is my first novel by Rina Kent and it was insane! I am literally speechless on how crazy this book is. The talent Kent has, the intense story she came up with, is mind blowing to me.

This book is packed with mystery, horror, intensity and a smidgen of hope and love. I thought I'd read dark books before, but this tops the cake.

Cole and Silvers story is so unusual and a rollercoaster. I didn't know whether I should root for them or tell them to run away from each other as far as possible. The emotions were mixed not only for me, but also for these characters.

The twist? I just can't put it into words how mind blowing it was. I didn't figure it out until it was almost revealed to me, but I didn't really believe it until the answer was revealed. And I'm still in a bit of a shock, if I'm honest.

From the second I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down. I devoured it with anticipation but also dread to find out what would happen in the end.

This book is going to stay with me for a very long time, and I definitely won't forget it any time soon. I'm really intrigued by Rina Kent and will be discovering her other novels, but I feel like I need to space out her novels so they don't overwhelm me too much at once.

I'm very glad I got the chance to read this novel and discover this author!

Review: Falling for the Sheriff by Alexis Winter

Falling for the Sheriff Falling for the Sheriff by Alexis Winter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I love that Nina is a tech nerd who works with computers, but she's also not a complete need. She is social and she wants to help the kids in her community. That involves a lot of socialization that I usually don't find with IT people. I also love how she is going about it and that she is really passionate about keeping the kids out of trouble and giving them a place to play and learn.
Bryce is a great guy. I don't blame him for wanting to leave the city police force and would rather work in a small town. I bet it was a shock to his system in how normal life can really be.

These two have an instant attraction to each other from the moment they meet, and they really tried to fight their instincts, but it was inevitable. They both went through some doubts and major obstacles in their relationship but I really liked how they communicated with each other and talked through issues with each other.

I really enjoyed this novel and I'm glad I got a chance to read this!

Review: A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout

A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author.  This is my honest review.

After the unexpected news that Poppy received about Casteel, her entire life went upside down.  Everything she knew was a lie, everything for her future is unknown, and all she wants is to get to her brother and make sure he is safe.  But to get to him requires a skill she doesn't have, and Cas has offered her a way for everyone to hopefully get what they want.

Agreeing to his terms comes with a price though.  Mainly the hatred and fear she feels from everyone she comes into contact with.  With her powers growing, she's unable to choose when she wants to feel anyone's feelings, and it becomes lonely when you can literally feel the hatred being sent your way.

And Poppy knows she is supposed to hate Cas for what he did, the lies he told, but she cannot deny that there is an insane attraction between them that just keeps growing stronger and stronger...

The closer their group gets to Alantia, the more unpredictable things are becoming for Poppy.  She is in awe of a 1,000 things, has a million questions, and is daily wondering what is really the truth or not.  Because even when everything is said and done, she is still in the dark about who she really is....

JLA!  Just when I think she tops her amazing skills, she comes out with another fantastic, wonderful masterpiece that leaves me speechless, satisfied, but also wanting more.  I'm always wanting more novels by this author, that I'm a greedy, greedy reader.

For the first time since I started reading her books (in 2012!), I took my time with this book.  I usually devour it like I can't breathe until I read the last word, but I actually spread this out through 6 days and I'm so glad I did.  I love these characters, I love this world, I love the mystery, but I'm dying to know all of the unanswered questions that I still have.

Poppy is an intense, strong, and smart woman.  She honestly might be my favorite female character of JLA's right now.  Her first instinct when she's unsure about something is to go for her dagger, then ask questions.  She doesn't hesitate, and she may have some regrets later, but her safety is first and foremost, and I love that so much.  Even against Cas she's willing to risk it all if she can survive, and that is admirable.  Honestly she has every right to just give up after everything she has been through, and everything she will be going through if multiple people get their hands on her.  She is a prize for so many groups, and not many of them are good outcomes for her.

Cas is... He's Cas.  He's secretive, mysterious, protective, possessive.  He is set to make everything work out, but he doesn't communicate very well.  Even though Poppy can sense his feelings, he's a hard man to figure out and that is both endearing as it is frustrating for not just Poppy, but also the reader.  I say this every time, but getting the guy's point of view would be amazing right now, though of course that would lose the suspense and mysterious of the storyline.

The connection that Poppy has with the wolven is VERY interesting to me, but my non-creative brain can't figure out what that could mean.  JLA will set me straight when she's ready to reveal, but Poppy is a VERY special person and she's about to do something so epic, I'm not sure I'm ready for it.

I'm so glad I got a chance to read this eARC, I cannot wait for more, and readers who adore JLA will instantly fall in love with this novel and be craving for more and more by the time they are done!  An amazing novel, storyline, setting, characters and author! :)

Review: From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout

From Blood and Ash From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

Ever since she was a child, Penellaphe has been waiting for her 19 birthday - her Ascension. She is the Maiden, the Chosen, and has been heavily watched and guarded her whole life. She needs to be worthy of the Gods to complete her Ascension, and follow a strict lifestyle until that day arrives.

So far she's done a pretty okay job of it. Sure, she tests the limits, but nothing to anger the Gods to make her unworthy. Until Hawke arrives. With Hawke comes temptation, feelings, adventure. Hawke awakens too many things inside of Poppy and makes her wonder "what if..."?

Soon Poppy will be on her own adventure, one she's not sure if she wants or not. But she is also going to discover things she's never dreamed of, and things she won't believe at first. Life is about to change for Poppy forever...

O. M. G. I just...I'm speechless. This book gutted me. Ripped me apart and put me back together, just to destroy me at the end. I just can't put into words how many feelings I felt throughout this novel.

Because this is a high fantasy novel, it did take me a little while to get into the story. World building takes time and I haven't read a fantasy novel in a LONG time, so it was an adjustment for me. HOWEVER, once I did get into the story, it was game over after that. I flew through the novel within a day and this is a BIG book!

Poppy is amazing. She's fearless. Reckless. Stubborn and determined. She's smart and intuitive, but also naive in some ways. She's a rebellion and is always testing the limits. I do not envy Poppy's lifestyle because she is also a prisoner. Being told that she can't talk to anyone, that she has to cover her face, she can't leave the perimeter. I think I would rebel too, because that is not a way to live life. So I totally understand her "acting out" and wanting to feel something once and awhile.

Hawke. Man, we get an introduction to Hawke that leaves you wanting more, only to have to wait CHAPTERS before seeing him again. He's intense, so serious, yet can joke around with Poppy at the same time. He seems a little slow, but in reality he's the smartest character in this book. Nothing gets by him - he has the eyes and ears of a hawk and is always one step ahead of everyone else - well, except when it comes to Poppy. She's stunned him a few times which keeps him on his guard around her.

I'm not going to go into details about this book and the specific subjects and genres that JLA writes about, because I personally think everyone needs to read this novel. But I will say, I totally guessed it pretty close to the start of the novel. And the big reveals were just as shocking and bone-chilling as I imagined it would be.

Though I will have to say, THAT ENDING!!! (And by that ending, I literally mean THE LAST SENTENCE OF THIS NOVEL!!). THAT was something I wasn't expecting, because it seriously changes everything that was planned for Poppy and now I'm super confused on how things are going to end up. I mean, there is no way that everyone will live happily ever after. (Though. let's be real, JLA is a genius and she has the perfect ending, but I'm too emotional to work through all possibilities at this moment.)

This book has so many things in it. Fantasy. Mystery. Forbidden Romance. Supernatural. Lies, deceit, betrayal. Love, friendship, family. And so so so many secrets your head will be spinning.

I am so so so glad I got to read this eARC and I'm so bummed that I have to WAIT FOREVER for the next book in the series. I know that I will be re-reading this novel again because there is SO MUCH INFORMATION in this large novel, and I want to gather every speck of information until I've memorized this novel!

Review: The Truest Thing by Samantha Young

The Truest Thing The Truest Thing by Samantha Young
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

Samantha Young is an amazing, talented author that sucks me into her novels and makes me feel all of the emotions her characters feel. And The Truest Thing is a whirlwind of emotions from start to finish.

Jack and Emery... this romance was 9 years in the making and all fans of this series are going to be ecstatic to see how this relationship pans out. This is one of the best slow burn romance novels I've read, and 9 years is an insane amount of time to feel an attraction to someone and not try for a relationship. I'm not sure how they did it, to be honest.

And Jack. My God, he is such a selfless person, giving up everything that made him happy to keep everyone safe. It was heartbreaking to witness, but it explains so much of why Jack did the things he did.

Usually I am not a fan of a book going through different time periods, but not only did it help the reader understand Jack and Emery's past, it was done in a way that wasn't awkward, like many I've read. Each chapter delves further and deeper into this unique, soul deep romance between these two characters that will make you wonder why it took them so long to finally be together with the connection these two have.

I love how Emery grows throughout this novel. She was one of my favors as a side character because she owned a bookshop and I love books. But she was so uber shy, and throughout this book she grows so much bolder and speaks her mind, which I loved so much.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing this book was to me and it will definitely be one that I read again and again. I'm holding there are more books in the works for this series?!? Cat and Ivy?! That would make  me so excited!

I'm so so so glad I got a chance to read this eARC and I cannot wait for more amazing books by Samantha Young to be released :)

Review: Brutal Prince by Sophie Lark

Brutal Prince Brutal Prince by Sophie Lark
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Book Sirens. This is my honest review.

This was a good book. Both Aida and Callum cracked me up on multiple occasions, especially when they were interacting with each other when they first met. Both are got headed and stubborn as a mule, so they definitely had some issues.

Aida is a spunky girl! As she said, she's the only girl, the youngest, the smallest, so she's made up for that by being the loudest and the first to make a move. She's very smart and super resourceful. I feel like her brothers didn't utilize this but Callum sure will!

Hopefully things calm down for these two now that they've dealt with all the issues that their marriage created.

I'm glad I got a chance to read this novel!

Review: The Sins of Saint by Bella J.

The Sins of Saint: A Dark Romance Novel The Sins of Saint: A Dark Romance Novel by Bella J.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This ending was fantastic! I mean, I didn't see it coming and I just loved it so much!

Mila is one determined, smart, intuitive, stubborn woman. She pays attention so well and can see through people's soul, I swear. It's probably because of her childhood.

Saint is adorable. He is trying so hard to do everything right and he is at a loss about everything in his life, which is driving him crazy not being in control anymore. But the way he is with Mila in this novel? Very swoon worthy.

I so figured out who sent the original letter in book 1 so I was happy to discover I was correct.

I honestly didn't think I was going to like this series as much as I did and I'm very glad I got a chance to not only read it, but also discover a new author to obsess over ;) Looking forward to more by Bella J.!

Review: The Fall of Sin by Bella J.

The Fall of Sin The Fall of Sin by Bella J.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

I just... so much happened in this book and it sealed my love for this series! I love that both Saint and Mila are growing as a person and the trust between them is slowly growing stronger.

There are still a crap ton of secrets happening and I seriously need to know what Saint knows and won't tell Mila. I know what it involves but I need to know what it is because it's something that scares Saint, so you know it's a big deal.

Mila is slowly growing into a woman that can rival any petty person she meets, but she still has moments of doubts which makes things really inconvenient.

I'm so glad I have book 3 because I NEED TO KNOW HOW THIS ENDS! I'm very much enjoying this series and really glad I got an opportunity to read this!

Review: The Rise of Saint by Bella J.

The Rise of Saint The Rise of Saint by Bella J.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

I have to admit, I was a bit leery going into this because it's dark and has triggers, and I had no idea what was going to happen. And it really is dark, but thankfully I had nothing to worry about.

Saint is so not a Saint. He's the furthest thing from a saint. The way he treats Mila is disgusting to be honest. He wants complete control and he's losing it when it comes to Mila. And he is keeping everything from her. I think he wouldn't have such a hard time with Mila if he would tell her what his plan was, but instead he's leaving her in the dark and making everything so much harder.

And poor Mila. I seriously think she's a brave tough woman. Not only with the situation with Saint, but also based on her childhood and just surviving. I would have tried to kill myself if I were in her shoes to not have to go Theriot what she is. Plus the fact that Saint needs her alive, so that would ruin his plan.

I'm very intrigued to see what other messes are about to happen in this story because I can tell things are far from over. Glad I took a chance on this book!
