Review: Hello Billionaire by Kelsie Hoss

Hello Billionaire Hello Billionaire by Kelsie Hoss
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing.  This is my honest review.

This was a great novel!  I love Farrah and how dedicated she is to her three kids.  And honestly?  Her kids are freaking fantastic for what they have been through lately and they are amazing kids.  But to see Farrah think of her life and her wants and what she wants in her kids lives was just inspiring and amazing to see her learn to love herself from scratch.

And having Gage there to help her learn that about herself didn't hurt either, ha!  Gage is so work driven that seeing him interact with her kids brought out a different side of him that I don't think many have seen in the past few years.  It was so adorable and made you want to stick the kids with him all of the time.

I also love how Gage makes Farrah realize that she is amazing JUST as she is and no changing required.  I think Farrah is also really good and realizing that she is an amazing person and has done amazing things and if someone doesn't like who she is currently, they aren't needed in her life, which is awe inspiring to every woman in the world.  I think we should all think that way, but it's so hard, so seeing a character being that strong and confident in her current situation is just freaking amazing for me!

There were bumps along the way for these two characters, but thankfully they both are determined and have a smart brain in their head that they found their way to their happily ever after.  It was an amazing and honestly inspiring storyline that I'm glad I got the chance to read and experience!  This was my first novel by Kelsie Hoss but I'm sure it will not be my last in my near future!

Review: Deviant Hearts by Jagger Cole

Deviant Hearts Deviant Hearts by Jagger Cole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author.  This is my honest review.

This book was amazing!  I love Ares and his no nonsense attitude.  I love Neve and her fiery spirit she has.  Seeing those two clash and bash heads more times than not was very entertaining and the reader just knows that the attraction between them is going to explode - which it 100% did and I was there for the entire ride.

I was able to consume this in one sitting since I had a day off and I honestly could not stop reading.  The author grabbed my attention, not just with the storyline of Neve and Ares and the two families joining together to stop future wars, but also the side story of Neve's nightmare.  That storyline was twisted and kept the reader guessing at every turn, I loved it!  And so many characters to suspect of betrayal kept me very intrigued throughout the whole novel.

Jagger Cole will always be an auto buy author for me and I cannot wait to get my hands on the two paperbacks that will be released soon!  Anyone who loves mafia romance with a side of darkness should 100% pick up his books and start devouring them!

Review: Lost AF by Tammy Falkner

Lost AF Lost AF by Tammy Falkner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

Each book that Tammy Falkner writes, I just get sucked in more and more. This book is no different! Hadley and Jason have gone through so much emotion in the past few years and for them to have this opportunity to revisit those memories together and be able to find a way to accept what happened and learn how to continue living is so pure and emotional.

I have not experienced what these two characters have gone through, but I do feel like this book will connect with so many readers about just every day feelings. Things that people go through on a daily basis. Things that only happen in life altering moments. But none-the-less, events that occur in today's society and being able to watch Hadley and Jason and Eric and John express their feelings about those events in a pure, heartwarming way. It really is a beautiful message that the reader gets when reading this novel and I'm so happy I was able to experience this emotional story about these two wonderful humans.

I have been reading Tammy Falkner for years and will always be first in line to read any future novels by this author, so when this is released I hope others will be able to devour this book and love it just as much as I did!

Review: Bewitched by Laura Thalassa

Bewitched Bewitched by Laura Thalassa
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from Edelweiss.  This is my honest review.

I am quickly becoming a Laura Thalassa fan, which I knew would happen just by reading the synopsis of all of her novels.  This novel was so unique and different from many of the other books I've read in this genre.  It had a lot of mix going on in it, which really kept me on my toes.  Witchcraft, magical school, a flight to the Amazon forest, The Mummy vibes, Indiana Jones vibes, new adult feel being in school, other supernaturals?  I mean, all amazing things in my mind!

I cannot imagine being Selene and losing her memories every time she does magic, which she loves so much.  If I were in her shoes, I'd forego magic and keep my memories - relying on past me to make notes wouldn't cut it.  But Selene makes it work for the most part, until she starts to use A LOT of magic and loses A LOT of memories.

Memnon.  Am I supposed to hate him?  I'm not sure, but I really don't hate him lol.  I think he did bad stuff, but do I care?  Not really haha.  I love how in tuned he is with Selene.  I wouldn't like being called another name, but over time they grew to know the "today" versions of each other and I dunno, I just really liked all of the interactions between these two.

I'm very very interested after the ending of this book to see what is going to happen.  Because things WILL happen and I will be along for the ride right away!

I'm so glad I got the chance to read this novel and I already have the physical copy on order to have this pretty book in my possession!

Review: Places We've Never Been by Kasie West

Places We've Never Been Places We've Never Been by Kasie West
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I don't know why it always takes me so long to go back to a Kasie West book, because I always end up devouring it and loving it from start to finish. This book was no exception. I love Norah's pure excitement at the beginning of this book, and seeing her hopes for a great 3 weeks get crushed was so gut wrenching. Katie West has a way of making me feel everything her characters feel, and it brings the highs and low and everything in between.

Skylar is such a punk. I mean that in the nicest way possible. He has a chip on his shoulders from day one and instead of just telling Norah what is bothering him, he's just a jerk to her. I just wanted to kick those two in a room until evening was out in the open so they can fix it.

This book was actually full of so many secrets from so many characters. I always say secrets don't make friends and the proof is in this book for sure.

I'm so glad I finally got around to reading this and I'll try my hardest to not dawdle with my next Kasie West book!

Review: Her Merciless Protector by R.G. Angel

Her Merciless Protector Her Merciless Protector by R.G. Angel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I absolutely loved this book! I stumbled upon R.G. Angel not too long ago and now I know I have a new favorite author and will need to read all of her previous books!

Killian intrigued me in the previous novel so much, so to find out this was his story was fantastic. And the way he instantly reacted toward Iris? So swoon-worthy! I loved seeing him accept Iris for who she is and not trying to change her. Instead, he opened up a part of Iris she didn't even know she had and I adore him for that. He is her number one fan!

I love Iris. In her most scary moment, I would say, of meeting Killian, she didn't panic, but kept a level, rational mind and made her own decisions. I mean, sure, no matter what decisions she made, it would have resulted the same, but IRIS made the decision and that is the root her her and Killian's relationship.

I love the whole dynamic of this book, from start to finish, and how unique it is among thousands of other Mafia books out there. I am definitely going to have to obtain a physical copy of this book in the near future! So glad I got the chance to read this and will definitely be recommending it to everyone I know!

Review: A Cruel Arrangement by Tijan

A Cruel Arrangement A Cruel Arrangement by Tijan
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

This was an interesting novel. I liked the story overall and I liked the characters, but there were moments that I completely lost interest and the only reason I continued is because I shined until my interest was peaked again. I also felt like I might have needed to read book 1 to really understand the overall Mafia lifestyle and the conflicts they were having. It was a bit glossed over just coming in with no knowledge of what happened before, maybe?

I liked Molly and her no nonsense way of life. She wasn't scared of Ashton, she hated her father, she loved her bowling alley. Molly was definitely all or nothing kinda girl.

Ashton - seeing him realize how deep his feelings were for Molly was fantastic. I loved that part so much.

So yeah I enjoyed this but there are moments I felt a bit lost. Overall I'm glad I got the chance to read it!

Review: Mr. Nanny by Sam Crescent

Mr. Nanny Mr. Nanny by Sam Crescent
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

This was a quick and adorable read. I love the connection between Caleb and Annie and that Caleb knew right away he had feelings for Annie. Guys that know what they want and go for it are amazing. It's such an attractive quality that not a lot of guys have.

I also love that Annie took in Tara as her own, even with the bad history with Tara's parents. That definitely shows how good Annie is with a pure heart.

I'm glad I got the chance to read this novel!

Review: Cruel Mate by Sam Crescent

Cruel Mate Cruel Mate by Sam Crescent
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

This was a quick read that kept my attention throughout the whole story. I really felt for Ashley, getting rejected the second she discovered her mate. And really thought she should have made Phoenix grovel a bit more after all those years thinking horrible things about herself.

Then again I would have made my own life in an undisclosed location to not have to see him again, so I think I hold grudges a lot more than most do lol.

I'm glad I got the chance to read this story.

Review: Fractured Souls by Neva Altaj

Fractured Souls Fractured Souls by Neva Altaj
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I honestly devoured this novel in practically one sitting. The connection between Pavel and Asya was instant and healing for both characters. What Asya went through was horrible and traumatic. And her healing process took time and patience that Pavel had in spades. To see them both grow more into themselves was uplifting.

I always enjoy visiting this world and one day I'll be rereading all of them to enjoy everyone's story back to back again. So glad I got the chance to read this and, as always, looking forward to the next novel by this author!

Review: Blade and Crystal Thorns by Kay L. Moody

Blade and Crystal Thorns Blade and Crystal Thorns by Kay L. Moody
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and BookSirens. This is my honest review.

Oh Chloe. She has been putting forth all of her efforts to save the land of the fae, and she may have went a bit too far this time. I get doing things in the heat of the moment, but she let her emotions get the best of her without thinking about consequences that could happen.

This book takes us on all sorts of crazy adventures and I was along for all of them! I loved seeing Shadow and everyone else again. I loved the mysteries and adventures. There was a ton of drama. Not as much romance because of said drama. I'll be curious how that gets fixed by the end of the series.

I'm very intrigued on what book 4 will reveal and if my suspicions are correct or not. I'll have to write down my thoughts so I can remember who I'm suspecting lol.

Review: Dark Harmony by Laura Thalassa

Dark Harmony Dark Harmony by Laura Thalassa
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from Edelweiss. This is my honest review.

I think Laura Thalassa and I are going to be two peas in a pod when it comes to me loving her books. I couldn't get enough of this series and these characters. The way Thalassa sucked me into this involved storyline was great and now I'm sad it's all over.

Callie is amazing. Hands down, her character development is one of the best I've read. Seeing her really, truly, love herself for who and what she is, that was magnificent. If that alone was the entire storyline I would have still been thrilled with this series, because that is something we should celebrate every day.

Des is wonderful in his conniving mind but also his absolute adoration for Callie. I need a man to treat me like he treats her. Every person needs that in their life.

I'm so glad I finally dived into this series and finally got a taste of Thalassa's work. I'm definitely going to be diving into her other novels in my near future and I'm sure I will love them all.
