Review: Priceless Ink by Giulia Lagomarsino

Priceless Ink Priceless Ink by Giulia Lagomarsino
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

Who knew that Joe's story would be my all time favorite out of the Cortell Brothers? Especially since he annoyed me so much with the Millennial talk at the beginning.

I loved how Joe saved the runaway bride and how he gave Sofia the tough love. He is such a kind and nice person, but he has his work cut out with her at the beginning! I wish I saw more time with his motorcycle club, since that was always a conversation piece in the previous books, but I loved what we did see.

Sofia was in a terrible place before she met Joe. Her parents are cruel and evil and I can't believe they treated her that way her whole life. Seeing her adjust and learn how to take care of herself was wonderful and empowering. She took a little convincing, but in the end she is a MUCH better person!

I really did enjoy this novel and I'm very intrigued to see who Andrew falls for next!

Review: When the Storm Breaks by Emery Rose

When the Storm Breaks When the Storm Breaks by Emery Rose
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

Ever since book 1, I needed and wanted Brody's story, so I'm extremely glad I didn't have to wait too long for this heartbreaking and amazing story.

Brody has been through so much in his life, I'm surprised he's not more messed up. I'm glad he's turned into a great man who loves his family and has made a life for himself. His patience with his horses shows how attuned he is to trauma and how one needs to be treated to get through those nightmares.

I also love how much he loves his brother and his son. He is doing everything in his power to give them a great life, and that is just so sweet and selfless.

And Shiloh. I didn't really connect with her too much, but I loved how she clicked with Brody from the beginning. She brought out all of the amazing parts of Brody, so I liked her for that.

I loved seeing the McCallister family again. I'm really excited and hopeful that we are going to get Jesse and Gideon's story to complete the whole family.

This series is so impacting and both books have such a powerful message and story. I'm really glad I stumbled upon this author and I am looking forward to more!

Review: Hacking His Code by Lark Anderson

Hacking His Code Hacking His Code by Lark Anderson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This was a great and unique book! I have not read the previous books, but I didn't feel like I was missing anything while reading. Hunter and Arinessa are fantastic characters. Ari is so smart and insanely talented. I love that she's crazy good at her job. And Hunter very intense about everything!

I loved the mystery and secrecy in this book. I figured out half of it, but was completely clueless for the rest, so that was refreshing.

I'm really glad I got the chance to read this book and get introduced to this author. I may be looking into more of her books soon!

Blind Pass Blind Pass by Monty Jay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This was a fantastic book. I can't get over how deep these novels are and how it is so much more than a sports romance. These characters go through so much and seeing them thrive from their struggles is so great.

Sofia is strong and tough and awesome. I love how she's done so much to take care of Z and how she doesn't complain about it. And Emerson has so much history, it's hard to stomach. I'm so glad he is in a better place and makes a conscious effort to stay there.

I missed out on book 1, but I know eventually I will go back and read that story, but I do know that I will definitely be on the look out for more books by Monty Jay!

Review: The Fight In Us by Becca Steele

The Fight In Us The Fight In Us by Becca Steele
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

Oh, Weston. The hot, nerdy guy who is crazy good at computers at hacking. I adore him so and was extremely excited that he got his own book!

And I loved Lena in Winter's sorry, so I was really happy that she was just as smart and brave and crazy as I thought she was.

The only complaint I have is the loving-my-best-friends-sibling. Keeping secrets about that never works and it always ends in a disaster. Just fess up right away and deal with their emotions because the best friend always moves past it!

I'm praying and hoping and being that we get Cassius and Zaydes book?!?!?! Pretty pretty please?!??! Okay, I'm finished.

I'm really glad I got a chance to read this book and this series and I look forward to more by this author!

Review: The Bookworm's Guide to Flirting by Emma Hart

The Bookworm's Guide to Flirting The Bookworm's Guide to Flirting by Emma Hart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I adore this entire series. Any book lover who loves romance novels will! All three of these women are my other half when it comes to their love of books.

Saylor is fantastic. I love how blunt she is and her take no crap attitude. And Dylan is British... need I saw more? He is also a kind-hearted, thoughtful man, along with being smoking hot. Can it get any better?

Seeing Saylor's reaction to a bookstore was fantastic because that is literally how I react!

The other wonderful thing about this couple is that they actually took their time deciding if being with each other was a good idea. Most people would hook up and then deal with the consequences later, but not these two. And that's refreshing and very mature of them.

Also? We still get ducks in this book (like we you were worried) and I love how the senior home has so much drama and crazy things happen. It's so entertaining any time the characters visit their grandparents!

I'm so glad I got the chance to read this book, and series, and I can't wait for the next masterpiece from Emma Hart!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

This was a nice, short story that was gifted to Samantha Young's newsletter followers!

Oh Micah and Valentine. So many chances to tell each other how you feel, so many times you both screwed it up. This is 11 years of missing their chance, so it is upsetting at times, and cringe worthy, but you are still rooting for these two through it all.

I'm really glad I got the chance to read this and I look forward to the next newsletter story!

Review: My Beautiful Neighbor by Piper Rayne

My Beautiful Neighbor My Beautiful Neighbor by Piper Rayne
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This book had so many twists and turns and surprises - and I loved every second of it! I absolutely love the Greene family. It was a bit hard keeping track of each of them at the beginning, but now I'm committed to finding out how each and every one of them find their one true love.

Presley is one brave girl for coming to a small town with a big secret. And she's also brave for trying a new career so far from her home. I'm not sure I could be that brave, to be honest.

And Cade is so sweet. I love that he loves his small town with their weird quirks and he is so patient with his grandmother and her friends. Seeing him and Presley connect and get to know each other was sweet and adorable. They definitely took their sweet time and dodged back and forth a few times, but I loved seeing them get there.

I'm very intrigued about the rest of the Greene family (especially Jed!) and I'm excited for more in this series by this author!

Review: Hawk by Kat Savage

Hawk Hawk by Kat Savage
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This was a fantastic book! I loved how forbidden it felt, yet sweet throughout the whole novel. Hawk took a bit of warming up and a bit dethawing of the ice surrounding his heart, but once that happened it was game on.

Ava is adorable and innocent, but so wide beyond her years. Drew is a tough mama bear who will do anything to protect her cub, but seeing her make a new family and learning to trust again was so sweet.

I love how much Hawk loves his two dogs and what he is willing to do for them! The rest of the Bird's Eye crew are hilarious and adorable and I can't wait to read about their stories.

So glad I got the chance to read this book! Can't wait for more!

Review: McCabe Brothers Series Box Set by Julie Capulet

McCabe Brothers Series Box Set McCabe Brothers Series Box Set by Julie Capulet
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This box set has a wide variety of genres that will appeal to many readers. This has:

Sports Romance
College Romance
Military Romance
Billionaire Romance
Enemies to Lovers

Book 1 is about Bo and Millie, and I tell you what, the connection between these two is INTENSE!! I loved this one out of all the books and just adore how these two characters fell for each other.

Book 2 was wonderful and I loved how Violet helped Caleb through his problems. They were so sweet and they really understood each other.

Book 3 was great watching Gabe fall madly for Luna. I loved how Luna tried so hard to resist Gabe's charm, but eventually fell for the McCabe intensity.

I definitely recommend this boxset because you will certainly love one of not all of these wonderful characters!

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

The third and final McCabe brother. He is definitely different from his younger brothers, but one thing is for certain: when these McCabe brothers fall, they fall hard and fast. And because they are insanely rich, they can make anything happen.

Gabe and Luna both had a lot of growing to do during this novel and thankfully they were able to help each other throughout their time together. I love how Luna resisted Gabe so much and really made him work for it.

I'm really glad I got the chance to read this series!

I feel so much for Caleb. He's been through so much and trying to get back to normal seems impossible. I'm so glad that Violet is there for him and knows how she can help him without seeming intrusive.

I love that they had an instant connection and couldn't stop thinking of each other. The attraction was dynamic and I loved every minute of it.

So glad I got the chance to read this book!

Hopeless Romantic Hopeless Romantic by Julie Capulet
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

I did NOT expect to love this as much as I did! Bo's intensity is off the charts and I suppose some could see it as creepy and way too much, but I loved every second of it. The way he was instantly attracted to Millie and made it known... to the whole campus... was really sweet to me.

And I think the attraction between the two of them was electric. I've never fallen in love at first sight, but if I did, I think it would feel something like what happened with Bo and Millie.

I'm so glad I got the chance to read this book and I'm really looking forward to meeting the other McCabe brothers!

Review: Pushing You Away by Kennedy Fox

Pushing You Away Pushing You Away by Kennedy Fox
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

Oh. My. Goodness!! I LOVED this book! I devoured it in one sitting, and now I'm left with a book hangover along with a pretty serious cliffhanger!

Katie and Noah are amazing. I want to knock their heads together and make them confess their feelings about 15 years ago, but that part honestly makes this book so real like. People are always suppressing their need to say how they really feel.

I really feel like Noah or someone should have stood up for him when everything went down. Technically, Gabe hit him first, but I'm not a lawyer so I don't know the logistics in this matter. I just feel for him so much.

Also? That ending? I KNEW IT!!!! I have other theories on who, what and why, and I'm hoping they are right! And the summary of book two made me even more anxious for that book to release.

My goal is to read through all of the books by Kennedy Fox, and I'm so glad I'm making the effort, because their books are fantastic! You are going to want to read this duet asap!

Review: Alpha Hell by G. Bailey

Alpha Hell: A Dark Rejected Mates Romance Alpha Hell: A Dark Rejected Mates Romance by G. Bailey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I swear, every new book by G. Bailey just gets more and more amazing! I don't know how she does it, but I'm always left stunned and awed by the story I just read.

I love Lilith and I love how she's not an amazing fighter. I love seeing her work her tail off to get better so she can be a better demon hunter as well. She's a fighter and she has a mission.

The guys (Caspian, Eziel, and Alaric) are yummy and fantastic. All have some deep secrets and all are entranced by Lilith. I CANNOT wait to see how things progressed between all of them in future books!

I adored this book and now need book 2 immediately :)

Oh my... what a steamy book! I expected it going into this novel, but Jagger Cole did a phenomenal job!

I love the back story on why Cora ended up in Tanner and Bishop's town and how everything was revealed. And it was very interesting how the guys learned to share after they acted like alpha, possessive men at the beginning.

I'm really glad I got the chance to read this book and I look forward to the next one!

Evers & Afters Evers & Afters by J.H. Croix
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

Cammi and Elias were adorable! They had a connection in book 1, and that attraction only grew stronger during their own story. This felt like a slow burn, but I didn't mind that because these two are so sweet and kind and you are just hoping for a happily ever after.

Both of their past issues with exes are crappy and it made their trust levels almost nonexistent. But seeing them open up to each other and finding a way to see what this connection would bring was great.

I really enjoy the flying aspect of this series and I think I will for every character. But then I remember it's in Alaska and I get cold just think about it!

I'm really glad I got the chance to read this book and I can't wait for the next one!

Review: Creators by Tiffany Truitt

Creators Creators by Tiffany Truitt
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

So. Much. Death. I can't believe how many characters died in this one book. And the ending is just gut wrenching. Nothing got solved, the war wasn't won, yet the story is over. I feel a bit cheated and also like I wasted my time with these novels... I enjoyed the journey up until the ending and then I just felt...blah.

I liked that Tess became a woman who stood up for herself. The way they treated women in this book is despicable - I said that from book 1 - and it didn't get any better by the end of the series.

So I guess I'm glad I got this book off of my to read list, but I can't say it was an enjoyable experience overall. Because I'm left here unsatisfied after 3 books and wishing it could have ended differently.

Review: Naturals by Tiffany Truitt

Naturals Naturals by Tiffany Truitt
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I gotta say, the way women are treated in this series is despicable and I'm very surprised that I am sticking with it. I'm very much pro-badass women, so to see how people are treating Tess and other women just rules my stomach.

But on the other hand, I'm loving how Tess is sticking up for herself and her rights and for the people she loves. It's taking a bit of time, but she is going to kick ass soon enough.

I'm sad that she goes from one prison to another, when the hope of freedom was given. I know this new place is "better" than before, but it's still a prison, no matter what shape or form it is.

After the ending of this book, I'm very intrigued to see how things are going to conclude in book 3. So many things are still left open and I hope the justified ending can happen!

Review: Chosen Ones by Tiffany Truitt

Chosen Ones Chosen Ones by Tiffany Truitt
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book had been on my radar for quite some time, so I was excited to finally read it. I really had no idea what this book was about, but just practically dived in blindly. I was a bit stunned at the way everyone treated women in this dystopic world, and really struggled to accept this mindset.

Tess is a lost girl who really does not know what is right or wrong. Seeing her try to figure everything out and realize that what is happening around her is wrong was quite an experience as the reader. I was very intrigued when she was just a shell of a person, but once her eyes saw what was really happening, she was a force to be reckoned with.

With all of the secrets and lies, this book kept me on my toes from start to finish, and I'm sure the next book will do the same!

Throne of Vengeance Throne of Vengeance by Rina Kent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

I am absolutely in love with these two characters! I love how possessive and obsessed the main guy character is and I love how strong willed and tough the main girl character is. The attraction between the two of them is intense and of the charts, and seeing them interact is amazing.

I also like the Mafia life and seeing everything get revealed throughout the novel. So many little pieces to put together really made this a fantastic story.

Now that I've gotten some of Rina Kent's novels, I'm realizing that I am eventually going to have to read her backlist and get caught up with the other amazing characters that I missed out on previously. Oh well, I know for sure I'm going to enjoy all of them!

Readers are going to love this book and I cannot wait for the next book by this author!

Review: Textbook Approach by Giulia Lagomarsino

Textbook Approach Textbook Approach by Giulia Lagomarsino
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions.  This is my honest review.

I've read all of the Cortell Brothers novels, and I gotta say this might be my favorite.  I think it's because Will and even Charlie were a bit indifferent toward kids (even though Will is a teacher and Charlie HAS a child), and I am in the same boat.  Actually, I dislike children, but that's besides the point.  And I was really into this book, but the more times that either Charlie or Will walked away from one another, or that they thought that things would change even though it was made clear of how the other one feels, I started to grow weary of that game really fast.

I loved seeing the other brothers and that crazy town of theirs!  I never get tired of that, for sure.  I was really amused by the mishap of what his brothers thought about Will's new love interest and how they really got it wrong for literally the first half of the book.

I'm curious how the last two brothers are going to fall in love, so I'm excited to see that in the upcoming novels!

Review: Her Wolves by G. Bailey

Her Wolves Her Wolves by G. Bailey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author.  This is my honest review.

G. Bailey has done it again.  She has created a wonderful story with mysterious characters that leave me wanting more with a cliffhanger!

I really like Mairin and she is one tough girl to survive everything she has gone through.  And I really like the guys she's attracted to: Silas, Valentine, Ragnar and Henderson.  (I think Valentine might be my favorite!)

I also liked the side characters and how they each have their own role in her life.  Mairin really grows in this new pack than she did from her previous one, and it goes to show how one can change when given the chance.

I can't wait to see what will happen next with the next book, and I just know that readers are going to love this new series!
