Vipers and Virtuosos by Sav R. MillerMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Both Aiden and Riley had really awful childhoods. Both had their fair share of traumatic moments that made them both the adults they are in this book.
Riley is extremely strong and so powerful even though she tries to stay out of sight. She's still living after what she went through. Still waking up everyday and going through the motions. So many people would have given up if they were in her shoes, but she doesn't and I love that so much.
Aiden is essentially being forced to do what he loves, making it the most miserable thing he can do. He loves music but wants control of his own life instead of being trapped for 3 years.
His initial reaction to seeing Riley? I loved that so much. His obsession with Riley? Completely intense and focused. Not that I would want that in real life, but for a man to be that obsessed with a woman... something to be said for that.
Glad I continued the series and loved how different it was from book 1. Excited to continue the rest of the novels!
