Almost everyone I know has given this 5 stars but for me? I was a bit bored with it, to be honest. I'm not sure why, maybe because they were traveling for 80% of the book? And maybe because these characters just don't seem to know who they want to be with, even if it's all 3 together? Lots of hesitation, lots of uncertainty, lots of judgement that gets brush off later...
All of the characters are broken in their own way too, which was fascinating to see which character will be the one to slowly help and fix the issue at hand.
But yeah, I dunno, Ky, Jory and Asher are just a little too indecisive for my taste I guess. I think book 2 will probably be good with the revenge and vengeance that should happen, but i also think they will take their sweet time to follow through like they took their sweet time to get to Ky's country.
