Review: Broken Lines by Jagger Cole

Broken Lines Broken Lines by Jagger Cole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author.  This is my honest review.

It's been quite a long time since I've read a rockstar romance novel, so I was very happy to see that Jagger Cole dived into this genre and I got to revisit it again and remember that I love them so much!  Plus the fact that Jagger wrote it, I knew it would be amazing.

I love these characters.  Jackson and Melody have pretty dark pasts and very unconventional lives, and to see them go head to head was fantastic.  I love how Melody is not a normal 20 year old in the way she loves her music and even though she's been around rock stars her whole life, she hasn't let that sway her decisions like some rock stars do.

Jackson.  Oh, Jackson, my tortured soul.  He's been through a lot in his 42 years, but to see him at his breaking point was heart wrenching.  I honestly wish for his life on the island and being around no one, but that's just because I have a hate relationship with people in general.  He wasn't make great choices, but it worked for him for many years until Melody exploded into his life and made him want different things.

I loved that there was a bit of mystery in this book, and a lot of redemption.  I was entrapped by these characters and stayed up way too late to finish their story, even though I had to work the next day.

I'm so glad I got the chance to read this novel and will definitely be adding it to my Jagger Cole collection that is constantly growing!
