Review: The King's Game by Nicole Sanchez

The King's Game The King's Game by Nicole Sanchez
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author.  This is my honest review.

Oh, this book.  I had feelings, I was screaming at Daphne so many times, and I was entranced in watching the story unfold.  I figured out what was happening very early on, so many times when certain characters were around I was internally telling Daphne what to do, but of course she wasn't listening to me - or anyone really.  I love how even though all of the girls are their to get the attention of Essos, they didn't sabotage each other, well not that much anyway.  They were there for each other in stressful, scary situation.

I love Dave and how he connected with Daphne almost instantly.  And I love Cat and the friendship between her and Daphne.  They really are like sisters and you can feel that during the entire novel.

Essos is frustrating.  I understand he can't say anything to the girls because of whatever, but his actions were very upsetting to me, and I can't even imagine how Daphne really felt.  He did himself no favors quite frankly.

I'm glad I got the chance to read this novel and I'm intrigued on how things will get fixed in book 2!
