Review: Flames of Truth by A.C. Pontone

Flames of Truth Flames of Truth by A.C. Pontone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from Booksirens and the author. This is my honest review.

This was a decent novel. I love dragons so I was excited about that, but it was only focused on that aspect once which was a bit of a let down. I loved all 4 of the guys. They were all so different each other, all had their own personalities, but still felt the same toward Emma. I think my two favorite are Cam and Dave.

Emma is one tough chick. She's been given a shitty life but instead of giving up, she just keeps working and trying to find time to breathe. I think the 4 new guys in her life will be good for her, but she won't make it easy for them to be a part of it.

I wish this was a bit longer of a book because I would have liked the background story to be explained better. I am still a little confused as to what happened in the fae world so trying to keep up with the characters explaining their past was a bit difficult.

Overall I really enjoyed this story. I may end up buying the next book, but I get the feeling the series in isn't complete yet and I want to sprint to the finish line to see how everything ends up, so maybe I'll wait until it's all written and published :) I'm very glad I got a chance to read this book!
