Review: The Dare by Elle Kennedy

The Dare The Dare by Elle Kennedy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I have read almost every book in this series and I really enjoyed all of them! And this 4th book is no exception!

Taylor is one tough chick. After what she went through freshman year during her pledge, and essentially make an enemy who had made her life miserable, she is still an active participant in her sorority. Me? I would have left the sisterhood ASAP. But Taylor is sticking it out, asking with the help of her best friend Sasha.

So when she's dared to take a notorious play boy upstairs, she's terrified. Thankfully, Conor is a good sport about it and plays along for her. But the longer they hang out, the more he finds Taylor interesting and he wants to know more about her. Conor gets bored easily, meaning he tends to get into a lot of trouble, but Taylor is farthest thing from boring in his life.

I flew through this book! I loved how Conor and Taylor first met and I loved how Conor was always insisting Taylor was beautiful, even if she disagreed every time.

For the most part, both characters communicated well with each other, until the very end. The ending, they were both hiding secrets and making rash decisions.

I loved that both characters had the same family background, both growing up with just their moms. And to see Taylor and Conor both adjust to their moms social / love life was very real life to a typical child adjusting to a new person in their life.

I loved this book so much and I'm so glad J got a chance to read this! And that I got to read this series, because I really loved this world that Elle Kennedy created! I'll definitely be in the lookout for more books by this author in the future :)
