Review: Ice Hearts by Monty Jay

Ice Hearts Ice Hearts by Monty Jay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing. This is my honest review.

I sadly didn't read book 1 in this series, but that didn't stop me from devouring this second book in the series. Riggs and Nico couldn't be any more of complete opposites from each other, but they are perfect for each other.

I really feel for Aurelia and the terrible way she grew up. She is actually coping extremely well considering the amount of abuse and trauma she went through. I really wanted her revenge to be more public and humiliating, but Riggs is a better person than I am.

And Nico is such a sweet heart. He is FULL of love and patience and is all around the full package of the guy you want to love. He also doesn't take well to someone hurting a person he loves, so watch out.

This book is heavy, real, somber, and uplifting. This really isn't a book about hockey. It's a book about life, the ups and downs that people go through, and the hope that a happily ever after will come into your life.

I am so glad I got a chance to read this book and I'm definitely going to be on the lookout for more books by this author!
