I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This book was so much more than I originally thought and I loved it. After cueing some pros reviews, I'm glad I'm not the only one that good a Beauty and the Beast vibe from this story, though I definitely wouldn't say either of the characters is a beast.

For me the start of this book was a bit rocky, but once I got more involved into the story, I flew through it.

Ethan is a sweetheart. He has such a huge heart and is always helping the ones around him. Seeing him meet Ella and how he is struck stunned the moment he sees her was amazing.

Ella is broken and Ethan is the perfect person to help her find her path again. She is going through a pretty terrible experience and trying to coup through it alone is definitely not the right path to recovering.

This is my first book by L. B. Dunbar and it was so deep and emotional and hopeful. I'm really glad I got the chance to read this book and experience this great story!
