Review: All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace

All the Stars and Teeth All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from Edelweiss. This is my honest review.

I love a good pirate, mermaid, sailing around the world type novel, so I was pretty excited for this book. And it was pretty good, for the most part.

I found it a bit hard to connect with the story and the characters, especially at the beginning, but even so at the end. There was always this mystery around Bastian and he was always keeping information to himself.

Amora was a great character. Instead of being a naive character who got thrust into the role of power, she knew exactly what her life mission was. She was confident and purposeful, and even a bit entitled to be honest. But she has mastered her power to know she could confidently protect her people.

So overall, this was an okay novel. I do have book 2 waiting in the queue to read, so hopefully things will get solved and I can feel more connected to this world and the characters.
