Review: Raise Hell by Ashley Gee

Raise Hell Raise Hell by Ashley Gee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This is my honest review.

This first book in the trilogy does a really good job at keeping the reader wanting more with every page. It is a standard bully romance, dark romance, but there are a few twists and turns that make it stand out from other books of this genre.

The main female character throws a few surprises throughout the book and I find myself liking her a lot. Though she didn't seem to really be trying to hard to find answers by the middle of the book.

Drake seems to be a pawn in a lot of games, and I don't really think too highly of him. He acts like he has no other options in life because his father is forcing him to do this and that, but Drake always has a decision to make. I just think he made the wrong ones and is a puppet of his fathers.

Felicia is a great person and friend, and I really hope she doesn't get caught in the crossfire of this despicable school.

I wasn't surprised by any of the reveals that happened in this book as I figured them out pretty early on. I am curious of a few things so I am excited to see what book 2 brings in January 2021.
