Review: Rise of a Queen by Rina Kent

Rise of a Queen Rise of a Queen by Rina Kent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions.  This is my honest review.

I absolutely adore this series!  I haven't dived too far into Rina Kent's backlist of books, so I'm sure I missed some side characters that I should have known before this novel, but I can say that as a new reader who has no knowledge of this world, this series is very easy to get sucked into and not feel like you are missing anything!

I'm so glad we get both characters view point because they are both so deep and intense, that not having their thoughts would have changed the whole dynamic of this novel.  Jonathan is just SO MUCH and yet, every day he is changing for the better.  He's still one scary dude at times though, when you tick him off.

And the main female character is just tortured and honestly just trying to find herself and trying to find a way to move forward from her really troubled past.  Seeing her having all of her battles to deal with and seeing her support throughout this series was wonderful.

I am so so so glad I got the chance to read this series and I am definitely going to keep an eye out for more by this author!
