Review: Teardrop Shot by Tijan

Teardrop Shot Teardrop Shot by Tijan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

Charlie just can't seem to catch a break in life. She got fired, dumped and propositioned by her ex's grandpa in one day, and then her terrible past came rushing back to her. Charlie is strong but that day she gave in and agreed to work at the camp she made memories - both good and bad.

Reece just needed somewhere to practice ball without having the paparazzi on him 24/7. He didn't think he'd find an odd woman who blurted out ridiculous questions at random times.

Camp Echo is a haven of sorts for these two, but it's also the place where everything is about to change for the both of them.

This is a heavy book. The personal issues that these two characters have is more than one person should have to go through. Fate had them meeting, but they either hated to keep each other in their lives. And they both helped each other get past the darkness that was creeping into their soul.

I really enjoyed this novel and I flew through it because I needed to know what happened next. When I was done, it all hit me that there are a lot of great messages about live and living and loved. I think many readers will love this novel and I am very happy I got a chance to read this eARC!
