Review: Elite by Rachel Van Dyken

Elite Elite by Rachel Van Dyken
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I gotta say, I would not want to attend the Eagle Elite. Those kids are SNOBS! For good reason, I guess, but I wouldn't want to go through that torture every day, no matter who I wanted to make happy.

With that being said, Trace is such a strong person going through that torture! A girl from a farm around the snobby rich kids. She has a tough spine and showed it on a number of occasions. I was very impressed with her and how she stood up for herself.

Nixon is a jerk and has so many mood swings I'm surprised Trace didn't hurt her neck from being jerked around as often as he did with her. One minute he's kissing her, the next he's making Trace the embarrassment of the school.

Honestly with as little as she put up with at the school I'm surprised she took the crap that he handed her. But I guess attraction does stupid things to smart people.

I really, really liked this story. I knew a major twist was coming up and I was not disappointed.

I want to continue the story but I'm a cheap person and don't want to pay for the rest of the books. Maybe one day I'll give in and buy them, but I'm going to resist for now. Glad I got to read this one and I think a lot of readers will love this story!
