Review: The Queen's Army

This was a great story to see Wolf's (Z) back story on how he became a soldier for the Queen's army. I can't believe they started changing the soldiers when they were just 12 years old! I know it's because they can control them better, but that is so young!

It was interesting seeing Z with Ran when they were younger. There was also tension between them it seems.

This gives so much more insight on Wolf's character, since we didn't really get that much from his point of view in "Scarlet". I think it would be better for readers to read this after "Scarlet" rather than before, even though it was set previous. Reading about this would be confusing for readers who haven't met Wolf yet, whereas if you read it afterword, things are cleared up a lot better.

Definitely enjoyed getting a more inclusive look into Wolf's world before he because Alpha Kelsey in his pack.
