Review: Riders

Riders Riders by Veronica Rossi
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC (Preview Excerpt) from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

I feel a bit like I'm cheating, writing this review on Goodreads when I only got an excerpt of the novel, but I wanted to put it on here and they didn't have the excerpt option, so here I am! Oh well.

I loved Veronica Rossi's Under the Never Sky series. No, seriously. I loved it more than Divergent, Hunger Games, Legend - any of the dystopian trilogies you can think of, hers was the best out there. So I was stoked when I saw she had a new series! And it's such a unique subject! The 4 horsemen!

I was a bit thrown when starting to read, but it's because that is how the story goes and you are thrown into it with Gideon, the MC (Gosh, I love the name Gideon!). He is captured and has to recount how he came to the place he was captured at, so we get the nitty gritty story from his storytelling.

So since this was a preview, I was left hanging with more questions than answers, but I'm most definitely going to get my hands on this book when it WHOLE novel is released.

I think readers are going to love this book, and it's through the main characters GUY point of view! And the cover is gender neutral! You won't even know that a female wrote this novel (well, to the point that I've read, anyway :) ). So excited for this series and I think it will be a great novel for YA readers!
