The Finn Factor by Rachel Bailey
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I received this free eARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
This was a cute novel. There were times when I wanted to bash Scarlett and Finn's heads together to make them understand that they are perfect for each other and they needed to stop fighting the inevitable, but that's how real life works, right?
Both characters have their inner battles: Scarlett needs to have stability in her life and stay in one spot after traveling with her hippie parents when she was growing up. Finn needs to be a protector, but most of all protect his heart from the heartbreak he felt when his parents died.
I think there could have been easier transitions in this novel to make it a bit more smooth, and the characters were a bit awkward in some places, but overall I did like this novel and thought it was a great story about two people needing to get past their own issues before they could really enjoy their lives together.
