Review: Chase Me by Tessa Bailey

Chase Me Chase Me by Tessa Bailey
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Roxy has had a pretty crappy life, but she is still going strong. Singing song-a-grams may be embarrassing, but for now it's her only income. She WILL be an actress from one of these auditions, but she's gotta do something until then. When she met Louis, she didn't make it easy for him to chase her. Roxy is all about getting her start in life, and nothing, NOTHING, will distract her from that. Especially a guy that seems known for his one night stands with nameless women.

But the longer Roxy "stumbled" into Louis, the more she realized she really likes him. And to add to that, she's starting to like her new roommates, too, which wouldn't be so bad except she needs to keep to herself. But Roxy is slowing finding out that maybe letting people in isn't so bad...

This was a good novel! I was rooting for Roxy to find the perfect role throughout this book, but along the way she found the perfect friends and the perfect guy for her. She is strong willed and thought that she could ignore her true feelings, but because of the perfect people she picked, she was unable to avoid the temptation to like them. I could tell Louis just wanted to scoop Roxy up and make her live with him and not work, but he knew that would make her run across the country. So he did everything he could to make sure she was happy, which is just swoon worthy.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and I'm excited to have the other two novels in this series to see how their friends fall for each other :)
