Review: Make Me by Tessa Bailey

Make Me Make Me by Tessa Bailey
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received this free eARC novel from Edelweiss. This is my honest review.

I think these two might be my favorite couple out of the bunch. I was so happy to get Abby's story - she was the mystery among everyone and she's really the one who got the gang together, really. A rich girl who put an ad to get roommates because she wanted friends... That's just really sad and I'm so glad that everything happened between her roommates and her the way that it did. There were a lot of bumps along the way, but she definitely has a better life than before she met Roxy and Honey...and Louis and Ben and Russell as well.

Russell needed his head bashed in a few times to make him a NON-alpha male at times. The fact that he did half of the stuff because of his past is forgivable, I suppose, but he really should have talked to Abby more about his thoughts and feelings. It is the 21st century and women do have an opinion. Men just need to start realizing this and act like women can think with their own brain.

The attraction between these two was crazy ridiculous! I'm a little disappointed that Abby didn't start to become attracted to Russell until she saw him with his shirt off, but I guess I'll get over that minor detail. I wanted her to fall for Russell and his looks and his brain and his obvious attraction to Abby, but I guess girls can be obtuse just as well as men can, huh?

I'm really glad I got a chance to read this book, and this series, and I'll definitely be looking out for more books by this author!
